An Amazing Beach Stroll Made Possible: Our Track Chair Adventure in Netarts

We spent a couple of hours this afternoon on the beach in Netarts with a Track Chair. It was our first time visiting Happy Camp Beach in Netarts.

We arrived at the Happy Camp Hideaway office in Netarts, OR where we had reserved a track chair on DavidsChair.org.

We arrived an hour early. There wasn’t really anywhere to park so Leesa went into the office. They informed us we can park right out in front. They also mentioned that the track chair was out of the shed and ready for me. So we parked next to the track chair and they told us we were allowed to use it right away!

It was our first visit to this beach in Netarts. It was foggy but not windy and the temperature was around 60º.

I accessed the beach by driving the track chair down the boat launch.

We had to cross a small creek to head north on the beach. That was not a problem since I was basically driving a tank! We in essence had the whole beach to ourselves. I even had my feet lapped by the tide.

I drove over a rocky section of beach. It didn’t last long because it was really bumpy. It didn’t make for a fun ride. So I veered onto the more level sand. There was a lot of seaweed on the beach as well.

The farther north we went the more isolated the beach was.

We headed back after about an hour. I drove the track chair up the boat access ramp and parked it back in its spot.

Another amazing day strolling on the beach!

Thanks to DavidsChair.org for providing the track chairs that make these adventures possible.
